Quedas de Água das Paredes
Bom Dia! Hello from the Quedas de Água das Paredes trail.
Away from working on our casa renovation today, we took a short walk along the Água das Paredes hiking path. Trail PR1 MRT runs from our casa on the edge of Laceiras to the next village of Parades.
This marked route takes in a number of waterfalls and abandoned watermills along the way.
We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep and we’ll update the information on this and other local and not-so-local hiking routes as we complete them.
The pictures show one of numerous waterfalls along this route. Very beautiful and uplifting.
